Who are we?

Dutch Food Experts is a family firm established in 2013 and located in Antwerp. We are a fast-growing international organisation in the food industry. Because we have been experiencing continued growth, we are looking for a full time Back Office Sales Employee.

 

Who are we looking for?

• You have a commercial attitude, like to take the initiative, can work autonomously and are result-oriented.
• You are accurate, enjoy order and neatness and you do not shy away from purely administrative tasks. You are a true jack-of-all-trades.
• You are fascinated by logistics and international trade. Prior relevant work experience is a bonus, but not a must. School leavers are encouraged to apply!
• You are comfortable in an operational back-office position.
• You have strong organisational skills, considering that you will sometimes be involved in different tasks simultaneously. You dare to use your own initiative.
• Knowledge of Dutch, French and English is a must.
• You are a strong communicator, towards customers but internally within the company too.
• It goes without saying that you are familiar with computer programmes like Excel and Outlook, and experience with Exact would be a bonus.
• Resident around Antwerp and surroundings.

 

What will you be doing?

In this varied position, you are responsible for order entries and invoicing. You are jointly responsible for monitoring the accounts payable balance of our international customers and have regular telephone or email contact with them. You support a number of sales managers and keep them up to date with the status of invoices and logistics flows.

Finally, you are an important link in the export process. You are responsible for certain administrative and logistics tasks. You do not yet have any experience with these? No problem. We are pleased to help you develop.

In brief, a responsible and varied position where you will get the space to develop and, as you gain experience, shape the position as you see fit.

 

Your tasks

• File management from supplier to customer
• Stock control
• Entering and following up on orders, invoicing
• Planning logistics
• Daily contact with regard to orders.
